Racing History

DeeDee Jonrowe is a very experienced Iditarod racer. This year will be her 30th Iditarod. She has never won, but she has come in the top ten 14 times and won second three times.  DeeDee has scratched only twice, and one was due to an injury.  She has also battled breast cancer, and is now 60 years old.  She has been racing since 1980, and her worst place was only 24th for her third race. So far, she is currently in 14th place.
